Why We Love the Escea DFS740
At Haus Collective, the Escea DFS740 is one of our favourite freestanding gas fireplaces because it perfectly balances contemporary design with everyday practicality. Its bold square form gives it a refined architectural appearance, making it a fantastic choice for homeowners wanting a fireplace that feels like a piece of modern furniture rather than simply a heating appliance.
The larger viewing window allows the flame to become the hero of the room, while Escea’s Bead Burner Technology and premium Splitwood fuel bed produce one of the most realistic gas fire presentations available. The result is all the atmosphere of a traditional wood fire with none of the ash, smoke or ongoing maintenance.
Another feature we particularly like is the flexibility the DFS740 offers. It can be installed as a standalone fireplace, elevated on Escea’s optional concrete-look plinth or incorporated into a custom-built base to perfectly suit your home’s design. Combined with Escea’s Powered Direct Vent technology, it also makes an outstanding replacement for an existing freestanding wood heater without compromising on aesthetics or performance.
With Smart Heat Wi-Fi control, up to 5.8kW of heat output and Escea’s renowned engineering, the DFS740 delivers warmth, style and convenience in equal measure.
If you’re looking for a premium freestanding gas fireplace that combines striking contemporary design, realistic flames and outstanding heating performance, the Escea DFS740 is a fireplace we’re proud to recommend for homes throughout Queensland and across Australia.
