The Next Evolution in Electric Fireplace Design
The Escea LR1550 has been developed for homeowners who appreciate clean architectural design and premium finishes.
Unlike traditional electric fireplaces that focus on replicating a wood fire, the LR Series introduces a contemporary linear ribbon flame that appears to float effortlessly above a premium black crushed glass fuel bed. Powered by Escea’s advanced Holographic Flame Technology, the flame delivers incredible movement, depth and realism, creating a sophisticated visual experience that transforms the atmosphere of any living space.
Being fully electric also means complete freedom during the design process. With no flue, gas connection or ventilation required, the LR1550 can be incorporated into custom entertainment units, feature walls and architectural joinery with ease. Its Zero Clearance installation allows it to pair beautifully with natural stone, porcelain slabs, timber panelling, microcement and feature plaster, giving designers and homeowners almost unlimited creative possibilities.

Why We Love the Escea LR1550
At Haus Collective, the Escea LR1550 has quickly become one of our favourite electric fireplaces for creating large, contemporary feature walls. Its generous proportions strike the perfect balance between visual impact and architectural elegance, making it an ideal choice for open-plan living rooms, luxury homes and premium renovations throughout Queensland.
What immediately sets the LR1550 apart is its modern flame presentation. Rather than trying to imitate a traditional wood fire, the holographic ribbon flame creates a clean, sophisticated aesthetic that complements today’s architectural homes. Combined with the reflective side panels and premium black glass media, the flame appears deeper, richer and more immersive than conventional electric fireplaces.
From a design perspective, the LR1550 offers exceptional flexibility. Because it’s fully electric, there are no flues, gas connections or ventilation requirements to work around, allowing the fireplace to be installed almost anywhere. We regularly pair the LR1550 with natural stone feature walls, large-format porcelain, timber batten walls, custom cabinetry and microcement finishes to create seamless, high-end living spaces.
Another standout feature is its suitability for modern entertainment walls. The ability to position a television just 100mm above the viewing area allows homeowners to achieve the clean, minimalist look that has become so popular in contemporary home design, while maintaining the comfort and ambience of a beautiful feature fireplace.
With SmartHeat App control, multiple flame styles, optional heating modes and one of the most realistic holographic flame displays available, the Escea LR1550 delivers a premium electric fireplace experience from every angle.
If you’re searching for a luxury electric fireplace, a modern feature wall fireplace, or a holographic electric fireplace that combines exceptional design with innovative technology, the Escea LR1550 is an outstanding choice. At Haus Collective, we work with homeowners, builders, architects and interior designers every day to create bespoke fireplace installations that become the centrepiece of the home, and the LR1550 is one of the models we confidently recommend for achieving that result.
